The Rules
number o n e; This shouldn't have to be said, but some people don't get it - follow the PB Terms of Service. proboards.com/tos Basically that means no excessive sexual things, violence or drug abuse.
number t w o; we're a strong, pushing it to the limit, PG-13 site [required by PB TOS]. Swearing and violence can be written out as long as it's not over the top. Some sexual content is permitted, but don't write out the actual deed. Same goes for pictures. Keep it tasteful.
number t h r e e; r e s p e c t people. If you have an issue with one of the members, either take it off the boards, or contact an admin. We are here for a reason. We will work the members, but be ensured admins have the final say in the matter.
number f o u r; one account per character, this includes twins. I'd prefer if you had your First Last as your display name, but if you're feeling a little fancy in names, go for it.
number f i v e; Characters; all types of characters are encouraged. Feel free to have as many types of characters as you'd like.
number s i x; graphics. icons are a must, and if you can't find one, or can't make one, ask Adam or myself; we both have editing programs, although I can't say we're professional. Signatures are encouraged, but please keep them a size that doesn't stretch the board, and keep them tasteful.
number s e v e n; The application must be filled out properly. I will read it word by word, and if something doesn't add up, I will require you to change it.
number e i g h t; roleplaying mechanics. In-character posts are in 3rd person past tense. don't control anyone but your own characters. make your characters have flaws. our word count is about 200, which isn't that much. Please just make it tasteful. Quality over quantity.
number n i n e; murders and pregnancies. If you want your character to die, go for it. Just be sure to PM an admin when you're gone; a dead character will go to an archive because well..they're dead. Same goes with the pregnancies of characters. But if you want to go play a NPC and assassinate them, go for it. They can always re spawn.
number t e n posting. I'd like if people could post once a week, but I'm not exactly going to ban you if you can't. People have lives. However, if you're taking weeks to reply, I will warn you about it. oh, and if you post before you're accepted, I will delete that post, IC or OOC.
number e l e v e n; canons. Didn't get the canon you wanted, or don't like how someone plays one? Get over it. Seriously. Don't bitch and complain, because frankly, I don't care. I do not just accept anyone for a role, so if I think they play them fairly well, they're getting it.
