family information | Eve – wife – alive Cain – son - deceased Abel – son – deceased
residence | *Originally born and raised in the First Civilization, it is unclear where Eve and Adam disappeared too after their escape. However, they did eventually die from old age. Adam currently lives in a small apartment with Eve in Roma.
physical description | Adam stands around five feet and nine inches from the ground, his weight is at least two hundred pounds as he has a very structural, muscular frame. His hair is a dark brown almost black color; however his facial hair is obviously brown. He currently sports a shaggy type of hairstyle, as it seems to have no specific style, and a visible mustache and beard, although this seems to be well trimmed. His eyes are dark blue. And apparently his outfit of choice while on missions is a skin tight translucent suit, appearing almost as naked as his biblical counterpart.
personality | Adam is a proud person, has a fairly large ego and can come off almost arrogant at times. He also has a habit of being nosey, and wanting to know what is happening at all times, and like mentioned before, he feels he always has a right to know. Adam also has a bit of a curious streak, which tends to get him into a lot of trouble. He talks a lot, is very social and tends to have a natural socialite persona. He gets jealous fairly easily, especially when it comes to Eve. Although not greedy, Adam does enjoy owning things, antiques and such, he enjoys collecting objects from all over the world when he travels, he rather enjoys traveling to faraway lands.
likes | Eve, Assassins, Teaching, Traveling, Eden dislikes | Templars, Abstergo Industries, Not knowing what’s happening misc | - Reincarnation of ‘Adam’
history | *Adam was one of the first Assassins, along with Eve. They were considered part of 'Those Who Came Before', also known as the First Civilization; they were an ancient and advanced species on Earth who created the Pieces of Eden, as well as the human race itself. Exactly who they were, where they came from and when they disappeared is largely unknown. With early humans unable to comprehend the First Civilization for what they truly were, they were looked upon as gods.
Control of humanity was assured through use of the Pieces of Eden, which tapped into a neuro-transmitter located deep within the human brain. However, there were some humans born without the neuro-transmitter, hypothesized by Subject 16 to be hybrids of the First Civilization and humans, and could subsequently live without being controlled through such mean.
Eventually, despite humanity and the First Civilization living in peace for some time, war broke out between the two species. The war involved the theft of a Piece of Eden by Adam and Eve, though how this related to the conflict is unclear.
Adam and Eve, dressed in skin-colored bodysuits making them appear as if they are naked, are seen running from something. They move through an open area which may be the Garden of Eden. The scenery is a mixture between flora, a shiny blue material that resembles glass, and a white surface which sounds like stone. The garden is decorated in a futuristic style, the opposite of the biblical setting. Moving through a circular automatic door, Adam and Eve use free-running to climb a large, futuristic building. While they are climbing the building, the silhouette of a humanoid (who appears to be floating) can be seen holding a Piece of Eden to control several human slaves. These workers appear to be in an environment similar to that of a metal refinery, with one slave in the foreground clearly using a hammer to shape a metal object. The brief appearance of the silhouette is visually similar to Minerva, sharing the flowing clothes and glowing emblem on the headgear. Adam and Eve continue climbing until they reach the roof of the building. The camera zooms outwards, revealing many other futuristic buildings surrounding them. Further in the background, a mountain is clearly visible, while there is little other elevation in land elsewhere. The terrain is lush, and large forest boundaries are visible. Eve can then be seen to be holding a Piece of Eden; she then says "Adam, I have it!" Adam acknowledges Eve, calling out her name, as both turn to look at what was presumably chasing them. The memory file ends with Eve warning Adam "Look out!" and binary code flashes up. The numbers read: "EDEN".
While Those Who Came Before were more technologically advanced and powerful, humanity had the advantage of numbers; most likely outnumbering their creators by the millions, far too much for the Pieces of Eden to effectively handle.
However, like most humans, Adam grew older and eventually died, alongside her lifetime lover, Eve. It was because Adam was so important to the destruction - and the survival - of mankind, he has found himself once again walking amongst humanity, although this time, he has his free will, and isn't trying to rebel against those who came first. Much like before, Adam is rarely without Eve by his side.
roleplay sample | A large classroom full of students sat before him, Professor Adam Divi leaned back against his desk as he looked amongst the new faces. A slight smile was on his lips, he had made sure that he was ‘fresh cut’ for the first day back at the University, face shaven, hair nicely groomed and so on. He pushed himself off the desk at the clock struck the appropriate starting time, his hands clapped together once to get any obscured attention from the students.
“My name is Professor Adam Divi, feel free to call me Professor Adam or Professor Divi, this is Biblical Studies, class number EDN08. If your schedule says otherwise, get the hell out of here.”
He said with a smart-alecky tone and a smirk playing on his lips, perhaps this was why his class was so popular, he was the smartass, young professor on campus. The male turned his back to the students and turned to the board, grabbing a piece of chalk as he began scribbling down things.
“Let’s begin.”
That seemed like forever ago now. Adam’s life had complete changed in a matter of months, once a college professor, now an assassin with a target painted on his back and Abstergo Industries holding the brush. He ran his hands through his dark hair, detangling what he could, it seemed he didn’t have the time for proper grooming now-a-days, fighting and fleeing seemed to suck up the hours of the day. He was surprised Eve was still with him in all honestly, as he wasn’t the ‘pretty face’ he once was, in fact he was quite the opposite, his skin under his eyes was naturally tattooed a darker color from the constant sleepless nights, his skin seemed more pale than ever and well, the fair amount of facial hair that grew across his face could not be easily ignored anymore.
Things were different now, for once upon a time he was just a simple human, well, so he thought, and little did he know back then, he was something much greater. He was apparently, rumored to be, the living, breathing reincarnation of Adam, of the Bible days. This little finding completely changed his life, now he was constantly being chased, being fought, and being threatened with the possible end of the world, there were only a few whom could save it, and he was one of them. He exhaled, thinking about this as often as he did would surely gray his hair.
‘Desmond Miles. . . I’ll see you soon.’
